Nusa Ceningan is a small island connected to Nusa Lembongan by famous Yellow Bridge. The island is small and it can be explored in less than a day. All you need is rent a motorcycle or scooter for 70K IDR or less than that and explore it leisurely. Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan both are a good choice to stay.
How to reach
No fast boat connectivity is there for Ceningan. If you want to come to Ceningan from Sanur(or Bali), take fast a boat and it will drop you at Jungutbatu Harbour at Nusa Lembongan. From there take Bemo (they call it Taxi) to Yellow Bridge. If you are coming from Penida take a 10 seater boat from Toyapakeh Harbor, for 50K IDR per seat (directly paying to captain) and the captain will drop you at Yellow bridge. Generally, the boat leaves only when get filled up. From Yellow bridge cross the bridge and you will be at Nusa Ceningan.
Nusa Ceningan is a small island and it can be explored in a day. Generally, people stay at any of the two Nusa’s (Ceningan or Lembongan), rent a bike and explore both. There are some cool and beautiful shacks on the beach of Ceningan where you can hang out during the day time looking receding water during low tides exposing sea bed between Ceningan and Lembongan. The Nusa Ceningan’s shacks are all about sea, sand, sun, and swing.
The Yellow Bridge is landmark and identity of Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan. Painted in yellow, the bridge is a lifeline for Ceningan and Lembongan as it connects them. The bridge is narrow and open only to two-wheelers and human beings.
